   Want to get involved in all of the fun and compete in the world's largest pool league?  No experience required! Beginners to Masters wanted!  We can find you a team or help you start your own.  Teams are willing to teach beginners.  We have various formats, 8 Ball, 9 Ball, Double Jeopardy, Scotch Doubles, Masters, and Ladies Divisions.  Have fun! Meet people! Play pool!

Fall 2018 8-Ball Tri-Cup Qualifier:  It was an exciting couple of days! Congratulations teams for playing so hard! The final Tier I match could have gone either way!

Great shooting by the 24 ladies who came out to compete in the Fall 2018 Tournament. 8 ladies walked away with a piece of $1,000. We separated the field into two boards based on skill level. High Tier (SL 4-6) winner is Danyelle Figueroa $250. Low Tier (SL 2-3) winner is Chelzie Trujillo $250. Congrats ladies!!
Fall 2018 MVP Tournament - What a great event! A piece of $3,000 went out to 24 players!!!! We had 6 boards separated by format and skill level. For 8 ball we had a total of 77 players. For 9 ball we had 66 players. MVP Champions who took home $250 each are as follows:

While some membership cards require you to be able to jump the cue ball, bank it off three rails and sink the 8-Ball blindfolded, getting an APA Membership Card is much easier.

Having fun, meeting new people and playing pool is what the APA is all about.. You don't have to be a pool shark, because in the APA -- everyone can play and anyone can win. The APA wants beginners and novices, because it is the AMATEUR Poolplayers Association. No other organization in pool gives ordinary players a chance to win a share of nearly $1.5 MILLION guaranteed cash and prizes paid out through its national tournaments. 

How does the APA do it? It uses The Equalizer® handicap system to determine the amount of games a player has to win in order to capture the match. It allows a novice to win less games than a more-skilled opponent to win a match.
